An unseasonably warm but completely comfortable, sunny & clear late October day provided the backdrop for Lee and Kristin’s wedding reception at one of North NJ’s premier banquet facilities/reception sites, the Park Savoy in Florham Park. Nicole and Matt, 10/26/07
It was a dark and stormy afternoon and night, but the inclement weather did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm and high spirits of Matt and Nicole’s guests for their big day. The country setting of the Catlin Gardens (located in Orange County, New York about 45 minutes from both the top of Jersey and NYC) provided a beautiful backdrop for Matt and Nicole’s ceremony, definitely taking advantage of the sweet autumnal colors of New York State.. >Read more & see video and photos from this party...

Planning a wedding takes a lot of work under almost any circumstances, but it can be especially challenging if you don’t live in the area where the ceremony and reception will be taking place. The Smokin’ Section visited the refined & historic atmosphere of Rumson’s Sea Bright Lawn Tennis & Cricket Club, however “refined” might not be the best word to describe this affair. Rebecca and Scott’s December 1st celebration took place near Sandy Hook National Park at top of the beautiful Jersey Shore. It was a clear example of how “team efforts” can pay off. Rebecca found us on-line, but she and the groom live in Virginia.
